UGANDA SOILS INFORMATION SYSTEM

USIS is an initiative of the Sustainable Land Management Project to enhance dissemination of soils and related information to the public. With funding from the Global Environment Facility (GEF), the project carried out a nation-wide soils survey to update the soils map of the country at a scale of 1:50,000.

This system presents some of the outputs of this mapping exercise, as well as previous maps of the soils of Uganda.
